Former President Jonathan's granddaughter turns 1, her father shares new photos

Princess Eliana Edward, the grand daughter of former President Jonatahn, turns one year old today. Eliana is the daughter of Faith Sakwe, Jonathan's foster daughter and her husband Prince Godswill Edward. On his social media platform, Godswill shared these new photos of their daughter and wrote
"Exactly one year ago I found myself in the delivery room full of anticipation and hope, waiting for the arrival of the Prince 7 dynasty Princess my beloved child and daughter Eliana.
I am the luckiest father in the world to have you as a daughter, words alone cannot fathom how happy I am to watch you grow and turn one year. I pray for this day and forever that you will grow in the knowledge of the Lord, in good health, in abundance and joy, Gods protection and preservation is ur portion, you shall be greater than your contemporary and your parents, the world will celebrate you forever, you will leave and not die, you will declare the works of Elohim in your life. All hail Princess Eliana Edward as she turns one (1) today, we thank God Almighty our creator for making it possible. Amen

I don't know why people are laughing at them. They were together for 12 years, that's longer than most celebrity couples. Anyway, yesterday the new edition of The New York Post hit stands and the cover shows Jennifer Aniston laughing, along with the headline "Brangelina 2004-2016." A lot of people found the cover funny (especially since it's been tagged as Karma) while others criticized the NY post for trying to drag a happily married Aniston into the divorce mess.

Footballer Victor Emenayo reacts to accusations made by Azerbaijani media that he's over 40 & not 23

This man is 23 years old? OK! The media in Azerbaijan have accused Nigerian striker, Victor Emenayo, who was recently signed by Azerbaijani top division side, Shahdagh Qusar FK, of being 17 times older than the age (23) declared on his passport. The Sun also reports that the club accused him of duping them by lying and holding a fake passport.

Emenayo has now slammed all the false age allegations. Speaking to website 'New Fanzone Blog' via a telephone chat, he said:

"How can anybody claim or ascertain that I am not 23-years-old merely by my looks. I am not a cheat and you know, people are quick to relate anything negative to Nigeria. I am not going to let that false and negative reports affect my performance for my new team."

House of Reps to contribute N50k each for Team Nigeria delegation to the Paralympics

The House of Representatives have resolved to contibute the sum of N50,000 each to the team Nigeria delegation to the just concluded Rio Paralympics 2016, as a token of their appreciation for an outstanding performance.

The lawmakers made this decision during their plenary yesterday September 21st. The House also resolved to invite the paralympians to one of their sessions as a mark of honor. The house commended the paralympians for emerging the best delegates from Africa at the sporting event.
